The recent traffic stop incident in Virginia involving an army officer and cops pointing guns at him is making heads turn as investigations continue.
Now, the attorney for the army officer says that he feared for his life as the cops pointed their weapons. Moreover, the attorney went on to add how the officer feared that he would be shot in what is being described as a terrifying ordeal.
“He was so terrified that if he attempted to move his hands to the area below Officer Gutierrez would see him undoing that seatbelt, he was certain that he would be murdered at that instant,” claimed Jonathan Arthur. He is the attorney representing LT Caron Nazario, who is both Black as well as Latino.
According to media reports, two police officers from West Virginia held the army officer at a traffic stop, right before they pointed their guns at him and then decided to brutally pepper spray him too.point 279 |

During the daunting stop, the police department claims that the cops believed that the army officer did not have any licensed number place on his vehicle. That was the reason why they had pulled him over.
After the incident, Nazario says that he filed a lawsuit that sought around $1 million as compensatory charges for any damages, explaining how the two cops violated all of his rights that come under the first as well as the fourth amendments. It is reported that the cops also used great force during the December stop as well.
