Other court documents indicate the possibility that Jolie and Pitt’s youngest children, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox, could provide testimony in the case should the ex-couple grant permission.

Soon after the divorce filing in 2016, it was widely reported that Brad was under investigation for alleged child abuse after an incident involving Brad and their son Maddox while aboard a private jet.

“She has made similar allegations in the past which were investigated by the authorities and not substantiated,” a source familiar with the case said.

LAPD and Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services launched a formal investigation that eventually ended with Pitt being cleared of any criminal wrongdoing.

The upcoming divorce trial aims to determine custody of their children and to divide their estate.

The two had been duking it out over custody and financial arrangements since their initial separation in 2016.

Pitt argued that he had provided more than adequate funding but Jolie demanded a greater share of his $300m fortune.

The Maleficent star also desires to move the children abroad, which the Pitt strongly opposes.

“I would love to live abroad and will do so as soon as my children are 18. Right now, I’m having to base where their father chooses to live,” Jolie admitted in 2019.

Meanwhile, Pitt, who admitted to being a recovering alcoholic, had secured a legal breakthrough when a judge ruled he would be permitted more time with the children.
