Cops from Ohio are revealing the chilling and shocking details about a recent murder case that left the community in grief.
According to local reports, a 31-year-old mum of two was brutally murdered by an ex-convict who served as her blind date for the evening.
Cops went on to mention how the accused carried out the brutal and tragic crime at the mum’s own apartment with both of her kids being present in the home. Shanika Bogan was recently found dead by police authorities last Friday in Ohio’s district of Dayton.

Her wounded body was recovered when her mother set forth in her home, only to find out the worst-case scenario by her young 10-year-old grandson. Tracie Berry explained how she became worried when her daughter failed to attend to her calls and send her back some text messages. This was highly likely and strange behavior coming from her and hence that’s when she opted to pay her visit, only to find out the worst nightmare turned into reality.
The grandmum explained how the accused informed her oldest grandson how he was going to give his mum a nice message. On that note, he shut the door and carried out the murder in her bedroom. Moments later, he emerged and told the young child that his mum was taking a nap.
“Get yourself some cereal to snack on and I will soon be back,” the suspect added. However, he never returned after that.
The suspect was soon identified as 28-year-old Kendall Beasley who cops arrested on Thursday. He was immediately charged for his horrifying crime which entailed murder charges as well as a felony assault too.
Officials from Dayton’s police department spoke about how the woman was dead when they arrived at the crime scene.
They even spoke about how the entire incident appeared to be a sad case of intentional killing. Cops are still carrying out a detailed investigation regarding the case that has left Shanika’s loved ones in absolute grief.
