A traveler mum has been slammed after she revealed how she makes her daughters indulge in house chores like cooking and cleaning while she insists that her sons refuse to even lift a finger.
In addition, the mum was recently called out for talking about cultural values and traditions, where she spoke about how it was only a women’s job to embark upon keeping the home clean while the men carried the responsibilities to go out and work for a living.

Clare Giles added how her daughters have to return home from school and begin their house chores or duties with no exemption from the act. But if you think the same lies in store for the boys of the household, you’re sadly mistaken.
Living in West Sussex, this traveler mum went on to speak about how she prefers to raise her kids according to tradition and that means taking into consideration all the different roles that were assigned to them.
12-year-old Maddie and 8 years old Bonnie work hard on a daily basis to maintain their school work and housework, just so they can make sure their home stays in order all the time. Moreover, it’s a cultural act that enables them to follow in their mum’s footsteps, preparing for their future, at a very early age.
On the other hand, the boys aren’t told to lift a finger and can go out to play, whenever they feel like it, she added. From making beds and mopping the floor to doing the dishes and cooking dinner too- the list of chores for the girls is plenty.
As far as her justification for the act was concerned, the mum explained how her boys simply laugh and refuse at her if she requests them to do any chore. “They know it’s not a part of our culture. Therefore, they laugh in my face if I ever dared to suggest something of that sort.”
Do you agree with the mum’s perception about women doing home chores and men escaping from the act as a whole? Let us know in the comments section and don’t forget to share the story with others too.
