Singer Billie Eilish is hitting back at all the critics and trolls who called her a hypocrite recently for showing skin during her recent Vogue cover shoot.
The famous 19-year-old singer turned up the heat and shocked plenty of viewers around the world when she donned a bold attire that was revealing to say the least. Known for her bold and unique green and black-toned hair, not to mention the baggy clothes too, the star is showing the world a more feminine side that many didn’t even know existed.
However, not everyone is approving of the celeb’s taste in fashion and that includes plenty of critics across the board.
Recently, Eilish looked like a completely different person when she opted to go platinum blond on the cover of Vogue, wearing some revealing attire too. This comprised of a sexy corset, stockings, and oh so chic trench coat from designer label Burberry.
The star has recently discussed quite a bit about body positivity in several of her interviews, explaining how she used to wear clothing that many people criticized. Just last year, she was seen donning a pair of shorts with a vest top, which caused a stir. Trolls attacked her for figure during that time.
But now, her words were contradicted as she bid farewell to all of her loose clothing and opted for skin-fitting garments.
And that meant showing plenty of skin.
Therefore, the star was called out for wearing a corset dress leaving many fans confused as to what was the style she actually felt most comfortable in as they weren’t in line with any of her statements.“Suddenly, I have turned into this whore, slut, and hypocrite for showing some skin. People are saying I’m so easy and that showing skin is for those that are hoes. But I am what I am and I am proud. Let’s all turn it around and become empowered by that,” she added.
The star also mentioned how showing body and skin should never take respect away from anyone and that includes herself.
