Members from the Black community also went on to add how the giant mural celebrates the acts of violence conducted by white individuals, and also complained about how it failed to show any form of active participation or contribution from those people who related to the Black community.
But on Friday morning, news broke out about how an artist had worked hard to paint the defaced mural with being toned paint.
“I really need to do what white people are not required to do very well and that revolves around giving up the platform,” confirmed the artist named Franko, in regards to painting across her mural.
The mural which is currently located in Phoenix has George Floyd’s face placed over a giant $20 bill, complete with the hashtag that states the prince of black lives, which hangs right above his head.
