Violent clashes erupted in the state of New York on Thursday night as police and demonstrators came head to head recently.
Local media outlets confirmed how the Central Park monument was also vandalized in the process by cop haters too.
A total of six were apprehended by law enforcement agencies near the famous monument of the USS Maine Columbus Circle. Cops confirmed how this famous landmark was defaced by violent rioters too who used graffiti that was anti-police oriented.
A specific acronym comprising of ACAB also came in the spotlight which represents All cops are bastards. In the same way, signs painted with F**k 12 also were observed which represented f**k the cops. These were both spray-painted upon the monuments too.
In addition, authorities reported how some places had ‘Stonewall was a riot’ written in bright pink spray paint too.
A great number of protesters climbed upon the monument, which is situated towards the entrance at Central Park. They also began chanting slogans and waving flags, which was captured in detail through video footage. The video soon went viral on social media, especially platforms like Twitter.
Some protesters went as far as using red-toned spray paint to resemble the effects of blood and hence get their message across in a more provocative manner.
One person began yelling on a microphone, ‘it looks like people are searching for a black woman in a red-colored dress who apparently threw some paint.”
The crowd is reportedly from a part of the Stonewall Protests that gathers on a weekly basis, right outside the well renowned Greenwich Village, which is a famous bar in the vicinity.
Moreover, the group goes on to describe itself as the ‘black queer as well as the black trans activists that center around the acknowledgment of life relating to black people through Instagram.
