The shooting suspect of the recent FedEx mass killing legally bought his weapons, confirmed police.
Media reports confirmed how the shooter went on a shooting spree, shooting and killing up to 8 people at the FedEx facility in the vicinity of Indianapolis. Moreover, the fact that he legally bought all the guns that he used has now come forward, raising so many people’s eyebrows.
The weapons included two massive assault rifles that were used to carry out the gruesome attack, confirmed authorities. On the other hand, many people were stunned to hear this news because police say there are currently red flag regulations in place that are supposed to prevent such incidents from taking place in the first place.
Meanwhile, investigators from the crime scene spoke about how they found a trace of the two weapons used by the 19-year-old shooting suspect who was identified as Brandon Scott Hole.
Police say he bought the guns in the months of July as well as September of 2020.
The news was also confirmed by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department recently. While authorities failed to share more details regarding where exactly he purchased the guns from, claiming that the investigations into the incident are still going on, they did speak about how the shooter was seen carrying and using both of the rifles when performing the chilling assault.
The Deputy Police Chief also spoke about how Craig McCartt just randomly began piercing bullets at the workers that were present in the FedEx parking lot on Thursday. After killing four victims, he went inside the building and fatally killed 4 more individuals, before aiming the gun on himself.
In addition, the latest developments in the investigations confirmed how the gunman was already under investigation by the cops last year when his mum complained to the cops about how she feared that her son might commit ‘suicide by cop.
’ With that said, cops failed to find any suspicious evidence of any form of crime but they did retrieve a pump-action handgun which they seized immediately.
