An agonized and tortured 11-year-old girl killed herself after finding out her rapist was set free on bail in Australia.
According to sources, little Annliesse Ugle’s funeral took place today as distraught loved ones bid a tragic farewell. Mourners gathered in crowds of hundreds to give out their final respects to a girl that suffered so much in silence.
The congregation of mourners was so large that it spilled to the streets. Moreover, one emotional family member sent out a beautiful prayer that put tears in everyone’s eyes.
“We all know that you’re up in the heavens. You’re looking down on all of us with your cheeky grin and your beautiful face,” he said.
Media agencies confirmed how the 11-year old took her own life, just last month. This was when she found out her rapist was set free from jail, upon bail. Moreover, they confirmed how the 67-year-old rapist, Peter Frederick Humes, carried out the abuse between 2014 and 2018.
The child was facing immense distress, ever since she heard the news.
On the other hand, the alleged rapist was charged for performing acts of sexual penetration upon a child who was under 13. At the same time, he received charges for indecent dealing. But despite the string of terrifying charges, officials released him on bail.
Just last month, loved ones carried out a vigil in her honor. The event took place upon the steps of the Parliament House in Western Australia as reported by Mail Online.
During the vigil, family members wore t-shirts that donned the innocent child’s face as they prayed for her justice. Today, the family is fighting for the Annalisse Law. They hoped the government would take notice that such heartless criminals who are charged with child sex abuse, remain in police custody.
