Kyle Rittenhouse, the gunman accused of the Kenosha killings, won’t be facing any charges in his home state of Illinois.
According to reports, he was accused of killing two protestors, just days after cops shot Jacob Blake. Now, recent reports confirmed how the teen won’t be charged in his home state. Moreover, Prosecutors revealed how investigations into the case are still on the go.
A recent investigation report revealed some of the latest details regarding the weapons used.
It claimed that Rittenhouse’s gun was in fact bought, stored, as well as used in the state of Wisconsin. At the same time, the Lake County’s attorney general revealed how there was no evidence regarding the weapon’s trace in Illinois.
Currently, Kyle Rittenhouse is under juvenile detention at Lake County, without any bond under his name. This has to do with the fact that the criminal charges are pending in Kenosha. However, he will arrive back into Lake County’s courtroom by the end of October for the extradition hearing.
Meanwhile, his arrest was subject to much controversy, with plenty of speculations across the board.
Likewise, his legal defense fund attracted millions in the form of donations.
On the contrary, many view the teen gunman as a major domestic terrorist who incited violence. And that’s all thanks to his rifle bearing presence.Rittenhouse’s attorneys are portraying him as the most courageous patriot of them all. They feel he was exercising his due rights of bearing arms. This relates to the violence themed unrest that took place over a Black man’s shooting, Jacob Blake.
This combined with many people’s support is giving the high profile case a new turning point. And for this reason, many people are awaiting the final verdict.
