Biden’s administration revealed jaw-dropping figures when it came to the number of migrants entering the nation recently.
According to an official report by border officials, a massive surge of 172,000 migrants entered the country through the Southern border in March. Moreover, the facts were termed to be a 71% surge from February with the latest indicator revealing the grave situation that the nation is currently facing.
Experts warned that the crisis at the southern border was reaching dangerous levels and was turning into a humanitarian crisis too. On the other hand, Biden’s administration refuses to take full accountability. Instead, they’re blaming former US President Donald Trump for the situation that the country is currently in today.
Out of the massive 172,000 tallies for immigrants, statistics revealed how the majority belonged to the population of single adults alongside alarming figures of unaccompanied children, whose count was estimated as 18,890.
This is reportedly one hundred percent of an increase when compared to the previous month of February, mentioned sources.
In addition, it is being termed as the largest monthly figures in more than a decade. In February, the count stood at about 100,441 which was again a lot but nothing compared to the dire surge at the migrant facilities today.
Biden’s administration has been trying to tackle the surge in the recent couple of months which has literally escalated to a huge crisis.
But officials from the administration fail to mention the dire situation, calling it simply a challenge.
Meanwhile, critics called out Vice President Kamala Harris who is yet to visit the overcrowded migrant facilities or simply even take a visit to the border to assess the situation, despite being delegated as the lead for overlooking the crisis.President Biden made news recently after restarting the construction on the border wall that was first begun by Donald Trump. He mentioned it was necessary to close the gaps in the border wall, with many calling him out for reversing the decision.
