A 51-year-old man raped two girls under four and seven years old.
David Charles Holland of Prestatyn, Wales, is accused of raping two young girls under four and seven years old while holding a knife on one of his victims and showed them the picture of a burned toy doll.
He is implicated in eight counts of rape; one sexual assault, five indecent assaults, two indecent assaults, indecency with a child, and encouraging a child to engage in sexual activity. Holland is also indicted for threatening and distributing indecent images of a child.
On Monday, When he appeared in front of the jury at Mold Crown Court, he denied all the charges that were against him.
According to the prosecutor Anna Pope, Holland started abusing the older girl and made her swear by putting her hand on the bible that whatever is going to happen should be kept in secret and if she tells anyone, she’ll go to Hell.
After making her swear, he starts touching the girl sexually. Prosecutor Pope said that Holland believed that he was untouchable.
Holland photographed his victims and threatened to send the indecent pictures to her friends. He even sends the photographs of burned dolls to his victim to inject fear.
While talking to the court, Ms. Pope said: ‘He said he would cut her throat from one side to the other, and then the blood would drain out in about four minutes. Due to which the girl froze because she thought he was going to kill her.’
The video testimony of the victim was played in the courtroom, in which the victim said Holland told her that if she tells anyone, his friends would kill them and set their bodies on fire.
Later Holland moved on to abuse the younger girl, who alerted her dad, then her dad reported the matter to the police. Holland was arrested in May 2019. On search, police found a business card with ‘Abuser – David Holland’ on it.
Indecent images of both victims were found in the electronic equipment that he owned. The court was told that the photographs of the older victim have been found on online databases. The trial continues.
