The White House has come out with new statements regarding President Joe Biden’s fall on the steps of his Air Force One recently.
A spokesperson from the White House went on to mention how the President took a hard fall on his knee, several times, as he climbed up the steps of his Air Force One jet, that was scheduled to fly off to Atlanta.
While the president took several tumbles up the steps, he still reached the top of the stairs bravely, gave a salute, and then quickly disappeared inside.
Initially, the White House had blamed the wind for the president’s hard fall. But now it appears that they’re changing sides to the story immediately. And that’s because the spokesperson now went on to add how the steps of the aircraft are actually quite tricky to climb.
“He is 100% fine, I am not sure if you’re aware of the fact that those steps are pretty tricky,” Jen Psaki added. Before, the blame went on the breeze that came along a very windy day. But now, things have flipped almost 360 degrees.
When questioned about whether or not the president was examined by a physician after his hard tumble up the steps, she refused to comment on that in detail. Instead, the White House press secretary claimed that she wasn’t too sure about whether or not a medical expert was needed to see the president or if that was even the requirement at that moment in time.
She did confirm how a doctor always traveled with the present as per protocol but still believed that the incident wasn’t as serious in terms of needing immediate or extensive medical examination.
On Friday, the President tripped several times as he climbed up his stairs. Not only did the news go viral on social media with plenty of comments across the board, but it also generated a series of memes for the US president too.
