Golfing icon Tiger Woods has been injured in a major car accident in California on Tuesday.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department, Mr. Woods has suffered various leg injuries following a car crash in Los Angeles. According to the reports, he has been admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the fire crew had to use the ‘jaws of life’ to free him from the crashed car.
They further added that Tiger was the only person inside the car at the time of the incident. Luckily, the rescue team arrived at the spot on time and have taken him to the hospital, while the traffic investigation has begun.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said: “On February 23, 2021, at approximately 7:12AM, LASD responded to a single vehicle roll-over traffic collision on the border of Rolling Hills Estates and Rancho Palos Verdes. “The vehicle was traveling northbound on Hawthorne Boulevard, at Blackhorse Road, when it crashed. The vehicle sustained major damage.”
They further added, “The traffic investigation is being conducted by investigators from LASD Lomita Station. The driver and sole occupant was identified as PGA golfer Eldrick ‘Tiger’ Woods.”
Meanwhile, Mark Steinberg, Wood’s agent responded to the questions and said, “Tiger Woods was in a single-car accident this morning in California where he suffered multiple leg injuries. He further asked people to pray for his speedy recovery and respect his privacy.
Woods was seen on social media on Monday at a golf course with former Miami Heat basketball star Dwyane Wade. He last played at the PNC Championship in Orlando, Florida, where he played alongside his 11-year-old son, Charlie Woods, in the tournament.
