One of the closest sources of the former first lady of the US is dishing out details that many can’t believe.
Stephanie Winston Wolkoff who is also the author of the tell-all book titled, Melania and Me, mentioned how no one respected the former first lady of the United States of America. Yes, she was Donald Trump’s wife but that was about it.
According to the inside source who also served as a friend and adviser, Mrs. Trump also had no budget to hire any staff. And that’s because most of it was taken away by Trump’s beloved daughter, Ivanka Trump.
In the same way, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff talked about how she had to give up her salary too, just so two or maybe more staff members could get hired to assist Ivanka and her husband Jared’s East Wing.
As many are already aware, both Ivanka and Melania had a very fragile relationship. Let’s not forget about that memorable ordeal where the former first lady called her stepdaughter Ivanka, ‘A snake.’
But the tension wasn’t something new.
Moreover, many looked upon it as a past history during the early days of Trump’s reign in the president’s office.
And that’s when Ivanka talked about renaming the ‘First Lady’s Office’ to ‘First Family Office’.But that was just the beginning of the drama.
Wolkoff reflected back on her time in the office of the White House where she mentioned how there was little to no respect for Melania Trump. “It just never existed,” she exclaimed.
Working as an unpaid adviser to Mrs. Trump, Wolkoff also talked about how no one really expected Melania to have the ability to do anything impactful. Moreover, she had no budget nor the power to hire staff. And it’s all thanks to Ivanka and Jared who used all of the budgets as well as the titles.
In the end, Melania only got the leftover titles and funds that wouldn’t be sufficient to hire anyone with relevant experiences. “I gave up my original salary, just so I could hire two other individuals to be there, helping us set up the East Wing,” she explained.
The author has been accused of breaching Trump’s non-disclosure agreement in order to write her tell-all-book.
