A shocking new video clip finds one Congressman removing his mask to sneeze into his hand, on the House floor.
According to media reports, he is also one of the co-authors for President Donald Trump’s second impeachment article. During the video, viewers can clearly see him removing his mask and then taking a big sneeze, right into his hand. But if you think his shocking action went unnoticed, you might need to think again.
Yes, the man identified as Congressman and Representative Cicilline got wild stares across the board.
But one reaction which really struck out was from Representative Brenda Lawrence who fired a mean and harsh stare towards Cicilline.
Clearly, she wasn’t impressed at his audacity to remove his mask, considering the threats of a pandemic looming upon the world.Viewers watching the proceedings of the impeachment just couldn’t believe what they were watching on their screens. Pulling down your mask is itself a crime. And then sneezing into your hand just puts the icing on top of the cake, in a bad way of course.
The exact moment the camera caught him sneezing is when Representative Yvette Clark stood at the podium, right in front of him.
While the video went on to show Representative Cicilline putting back his mask on his face, he wasn’t observed sanitizing or washing his hands afterward. Yikes, how’s that for extremely unhygienic.
Just a few seats by his seat, to help maintain social distancing, Rep Brenda Lawrence gave the congressman the harshest stare. And that was right before she turned her attention towards the serious discussion.
Since it was caught on camera, it didn’t take long for the video clip to go viral on social media. And therefore, Twitter was quick to complain about the congressman’s attitude and etiquette regarding the bizarre incident.
One person went as far as writing how he loved how the congressman looked around to see if anyone noticed him and his behavior.
