Anthony Fauci has not been on good terms with Trump, but he hopes to have a good relationship with the upcoming president, Joe Biden.
Dr. Anthony Fauci, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director, was called an “idiot” by the current commander-in-chief Donald Trump. He also said that Fauci had been a complete disaster during the pandemic.
Fauci is recently busy ensuring people that the vaccine is safe and is essential for everyone. He has provided selfless services throughout the pandemic and kept telling people to take the virus seriously.
Fauci, without naming anyone, said all those who doubt the reputable scientists are a sheer disappointment.
Trump never had a friendly relationship with Fauci. A few months back, Trump’s team took some excerpts from Fauci’s interview and misinterpreted them into their advertisement to prove that Fauci is a Trump supporter.
Despite Trump’s controversial statement against Fauci, Fauci has tried not to infuriate Trump. However, he is not pleased with Trump’s non-serious attitude towards the pandemic and research workers. Fauci expects to have a more direct relationship with Biden till the pandemic is over.
He said that he had a conversation with the upcoming president, and he is willing to cooperate with medical experts to get the COVID-19 under control.
On Thursday, December 3, Biden announced that he had asked Dr.
Fauci to continue his current services and be the chief medical adviser during his administration. He also added that the upcoming administration members are in touch with Fauci, and he had accepted their offer. Fauci has a successful career and had got the honor to serve under six presidents in the past.
He is happy with Biden’s approach, whose priority is to control the COVID-19 as soon as he takes office on January 20.
Fauci will turn 80-year-old on Thursday, December 24. He recorded himself receiving the vaccine on Tuesday, December 22, a day after Biden got the vaccine. He is busy developing people’s trust in the vaccine by frequently posting videos and going live on social media.
