After suffering multiple failed pregnancies, a British ‘trans couple’ became the first to have twins.
It was all thanks to a miraculous IVF gift left by a dying friend. And today, the proud mum and dad pose for countless history-making snapshots. But how did their journey really begin is a question on many people’s minds.
According to sources, Adrienne and Michael Elson-Steven put all of their reassignment surgeries on hold. And that was just so they could catch their dreams of having a family. Above all, it was a miracle left in the form of an IVF legacy that truly gave rise to their baby.
Meanwhile, just last month, a 42-year-old dad, Michael, formerly referred to as Lindsay, gave birth to two girls. Yes, Christin and Mavis came into the world via cesarean section, as their proud mum, Adrienne, awaited anxiously.
In addition, let’s not forget how the couple faced plenty of abuse for being ‘trans.’ This was followed by great agony over multiple failed pregnancies. However, this was their moment of glory, truly overwhelming for the strong pair.
49-year-old train shunter, Adrianne, explains how she feels so ‘blessed and complete.’ She never thought that they would be here and now after looking at them, she can’t hold back her tears. ‘I’m filled with so much love for them as well as Michael,’ she explains.
On the other hand, Michael explains his major challenges with pregnancy as a trans man. For him, it was a lot to deal with in his head. The fact that he had to carry a child for 9 months really tested him.
However, for him, becoming a parent was his greatest priority.
After their first round of IVF failed, their dying friend, Christopher Luke, mentioned how he planned to leave money for their IVF in his will.It was certainly a touching gesture.
However, when he actually died from pneumonia in 2017, the couple found out how he changed his will. Here, he mentioned how he passed on his legacy via an IVF gift for the couple. And without his help, the couple would never get their miracle daughters.
Today, the transgender couple enjoys the exhausting yet happy moments with their twins. While their lives are turned upside down, they surely wouldn’t want it any other way. Congratulations!
