The 10-year-old Lucinda died a few days before Christmas after getting hit by a truck while riding her scooter on a busy road.
The family was left with the little soul’s unforgettable memories and what a sad Christmas they will have this year. The medical staff failed to revive the kid as she crashed into a three-tonne council truck in Cambridge Gardens, near Penrith in western Sydney. The sad incident took place on Monday, December 7, at around 4 pm.
Jacob King, the 21-year-old brother of the deceased soul, said the father is in deep trauma and can’t endure this great loss.
He said this year’s Christmas is going to be so difficult for the whole family.
The depressed brother almost cried while talking about Lucinda. He told the reporters how excited his sister was regarding Christmas. She had requested her parents to give her a doll on Christmas, and now she is no more to receive the present.“She was such a beautiful and energetic soul, a sweet, cheeky child,” the brother mourned the death of Lucinda, who had left the family so early. He told The Daily Telegraph that the little angel was racing with her friends on the road, and she was trying to take her scooter on the other side of the road when a council truck ran over her.
The family is in a state of deep shock and said the tragedy had devastated them all.
