Jaycie Barton from The University of Texas gets kicked out of her sorority after posting a pro-Trump demonstration video.
During a rally in Trump’s support, Jaycie Barton filmed a video that showed protesters raising slogans, “Trump 2020” and “All Lives Matter.” Barto was a member of the ZTA (Zeta Tau Alpha) sorority at Texas school; she was expelled from the organization after posting the video on Tik Tok in August. She claims the sorority dismissed her for unsisterly conduct. Barton was deprived of the title of Risk Management Chair in September.
The organization commented on the matter, saying that ZTA supports the “Black Lives Matter” campaign.
The slogan “All Lives Matter” opposes their cause; thus, they had dismissed Barton for her unsisterly conduct. One of the sorority sisters commented on the situation, saying our organization tries to be more inclusive, and the slogan “All Lives Matter” is not much inclusive.
The proverb is often used to oppose the black community’s motto, “Black Lives Matter.” Raising another slogan kills the impact of the movement.
Barton is now serving as the president of Turning Point USA, an organization founded by Charlie Kirk.
She said, “I just filmed the random posters present at the rally.” One of the video’s scenes shows a guy holding a poster that reads “All lives Matter” Barton claims that she doesn’t know that guy, and it was random.
Breitbart interviewed Barton after this incident, where she justified her action by saying, “I do support the Black Lives Matter campaign.
” She was bothered by her elimination decision and said I don’t understand why they were offended. When I say All Lives Matter, it means “All”; everyone is included in it. She also said that she joined the demonstration to support the breast cancer awareness campaign, not BLM.
She further added that she is open to join and work with members who think beyond political differences, and humanity is their priority.
