Leadership is not any individual’s belonging nor a heritage of a certain political party – Michelle Obama.
The former first lady opens up on Trump’s obstinate behavior of not backing from election scam claims. Michelle took the matter to her Instagram and wrote a lengthy caption on this matter. She recalled the events that occurred four years ago when Trump was given the powers, and she and her husband welcomed them in the White House. She revealed how she controlled her anger for the sake of a peaceful power transition and to avoid any dispute.
Michelle Obama shared her past feelings and acknowledged how she was devastated and disappointed by the election’s result.
It was not easy for her to accept the results according to which Trump had won.
“Despite all the sadness and frustration, I faced reality. My husband and I instructed our staff members to make sure the transition process goes smooth and peaceful. This was what George and Laura Bush did too when Obama won the elections,” said Michelle Obama
“We were obviously not happy with the results. No one feels good to lose, nor did we! We still managed the things mannerly in a very respectable way. I think this is one of the biggest hallmarks of American democracy. We even arranged meetings with Trump’s political staff and prepared memos that summed up all the lessons we learned in the past eight years,” said Michelle Obama
She further confessed that this wasn’t easy for her as she was devastated by Trump’s racist remarks about her husband, Barack Obama.
Her family suffered a lot due to that conspiracy theory, and she was not ready to forget and forgive the man behind.
But she still did, for the sake of the country, for the sake of democracy. She had to behave sensibly and show some maturity because the nation was her top priority.Michelle Obama thinks Trump should stop playing conspiracy theories for political or personal gains. She thinks this ignorance will damage the country’s pride and stability. A true patriot will never disrespect an election’s result even if he disagrees with it.
