US Marshals’ recovered a staggering 45 missing kids and 109 human trafficking survivors in Ohio.
The breakthrough ‘Autumn Hope Operation’ left plenty of people stunned, leading to 169 arrests too. Meanwhile, sources reported how the Ohio state’s attorney general confirmed the news.
At the same time, he also confirmed how this was the largest anti-human trafficking operation in the state’s history. Spearheaded by the state’s human trafficking task force as well as US Marshals, it was a groundbreaking collaboration.
In total, there were a whopping 169 arrests after the operation took place. Sources confirmed how 157 of those arrests comprised of men. And they were also responsible for carrying out a number of other crimes. This includes the districts of Lucas, Franklin, as well as Cuyahoga during October.
At the same time, the operation led to a massive recovery of 45 missing kids. Alongside them, the operation brought about more fruitful results with the rescue of 109 human trafficking victims. These were individuals who survived the gruesome horrors of the crime.
Meanwhile, news reports confirmed how the officials only presented a small number of details regarding the case. And that was right when they confirmed the rather impressive figures.
One of the victims from this operation included an innocent 14-year-old girl. Recently, she made headlines after her sudden disappearance from the state. After a mere 6 hours, officers reported her recovery from an area that was 30 miles away from Columbus.
The rescue operation also included a young 15-year-old child who was present on the wanted list for a while. This was related in connection to a number of shootings as well as homicide too. Police confirmed how they found him loaded with a gun, after the arrest.
The leading US Marshal that is responsible for Ohio’s southern district praised the efforts of the operation, claiming it to be a major success.
