The recent recordings for the Breonna Taylor case are going public and they’re bringing out some rather bizarre twists.
According to reports, the recent grand jury proceedings made some rather conflicting accounts.
Meanwhile, one such instance relates to the contradicting views of the shooting. In particular, the cop held for carrying out the shooting says he can’t remember if he even did. Moreover, he says that he is unsure of what really went on at that time.
The 15-hour long jury proceedings contain audio of what really went on behind Kentucky’s closed doors.
Reports explain how the recordings went public after a certain lawsuit came into the spotlight. Meanwhile, the audio also includes some interviews with close acquaintances. This includes Breonna’s boyfriend, neighbors, and some hidden archived discussions of officers.
As far as the latest charges are concerned, here is the recent update. Former detective for the case, Brett Hankison, is no longer on the case as he got fired. On the other hand, Sargent John Mattingly is not charged yet. Moreover, he’s still not sure about what exactly went on that night.
The New York Times recently reported how the FBI thinks that Cosgrove is guilty of firing the shot. And that’s when the police barged into Taylor’s apartment, claiming the battering ram.
Furthermore, the cops involved in the incident explained how they knocked on the door and waited.
Soon, they knocked again and attempted to wait longer. Finally, on the third attempt, they waited for up to one minute. And that’s when one cop gave the green signal to go inside. He exclaimed, ‘Let’s go, let’s breach it.

Breonna’s boyfriend says he doesn’t remember any of the officers knocking and then entering. Moreover, if they did, there would be nothing to be afraid of. Apparently, he shot one of the cops and then prompted them to open fire towards the couple. Taylor received 8 bullets, with the cops shooting up to 32 rounds.
