Police arrested one teenager after reports explained a gruesome shooting incident in Kesgrave.
One 15-year-old boy suffered massive injuries as he was on his way to school. The rather startling incident took place, right in front of his pupils.
Meanwhile, witnesses described the terrifying incident as the suspect hid behind a back garden. Armed police swarmed the area, searching for the culprit, who lay against an animal enclosure.
Police reached the area after gunshot reports this morning. And that’s when they explained how the Year 11 pupil sustained the most severe injuries. It was so bad that they had to airlift his injured body towards Addenbrooke’s hospital.
The harrowing incident that occurred took place at Friend’s Walk. Moreover, that location is just half a mile away from Kesgrave High School.
Police from Suffolk confirmed how they arrested the teen killer, just before 1 pm, that same day. Currently, he is under police custody and undergoing questioning.
Meanwhile, one owner from the Kesgrave animal shelter explained how he assumed that the suspect was indeed hiding towards the back garden. And that’s when he immediately decided to inform the police.
The unknown resident went on to claim how the suspect looked to be around the mid-20s age group. Above all, he explained how he was poorly groomed. ‘He didn’t seem to have a haircut for a while,’ he went on to claim.
‘I only woke up because my dogs started barking like crazy, at the back.’ He knew something was wrong as they never show this type of behavior, so early in the morning.
‘He appeared as if he was holding or possessing something,’ he explained. On the other hand, the man explained how the suspect was covering his arm with a hooded top. And that meant he was definitely concealing something.
Meanwhile, the pupil from the school entered into a state of panic. And that’s when the school’s officials made an announcement via Twitter. They explained how a serious incident took place near the premises, and it involved one of the pupils.
