Renowned Black Panther star, Chadwick Boseman, secretly married his wife, Taylor Simone Ledward, moments before his death.
According to reports, it was a very private wedding ceremony.
Boseman passed away at his residence in Los Angeles, with his wife by his side. Moreover, the actor was suffering from a long and enduring, yet private battle with colon cancer. Reports claim that his close family members and friends, alongside his beloved wife, were closeby during the heartbreaking moment.
Taylor, a singer from California State’s Polytechnic University, married the Black Panther star after he popped the question last year in October. Meanwhile, the pair reportedly claimed their vows in a private and subdued wedding ceremony, right before the actor’s colon cancer advanced.
With that said, the couple chose to keep much of the early stages of their relationship undercover. But that all came to an end when the duo kept on getting pictured together at numerous public events. This includes countless award ceremonies as well as plenty of red carpets’ themed affairs and movie premiers.
Just one year into the couple’s relationship, the star was diagnosed with colon cancer. However, he fiercely battled it with Taylor at his side, Just last year in March, the celeb spoke about the sparks of romance during the 50th NAACP Image Awards.
He claimed his love and affection for her, acknowledging how much of an influence she has in his life.
Cameras caught the sweet moment on film, and when they pinned their heads towards Taylor, she mouthed the words, ‘I love you,’ right back at him.
Meanwhile, Taylor’s grandmother also confirmed that the couple was madly in love with one another. ‘They respected each other and were very happy too’, she claims.
The 43-year-old actor’s death sent shockwaves around the globe, with fans and wellwishers pouring out sentiments galore.
Today, he leaves behind a loving wife as well as a whole team of supporting family members and friends. This includes countless fans who simply couldn’t get enough of the actor’s inspiring talent. However, the couple did not have any kids.
