The 33-year-old actress Naya Rivera is missing from Wednesday afternoon and presumed dead after her son was found alone in the boat sleeping, in California.

   

According to resources, the Glee star rented a pontoon boat for herself and her son Josey, on Wednesday afternoon at Lake Piru. Another boat present on the lake alarmed the authorities in the evening when they saw the boat drifting and the little kid asleep alone.

Upon investigation, cops found Rivera’s car parked in the parking lot by the lake and her life jacket was on the vessel indicating that she went in the lake for swimming. Cops further indicated that this might be the case of some horrible accident – drowning.

Josey told the investigators that after swimming he climbed back on the boat but his mum didn’t. However, it’s still unclear that what happened actually and cops are saying it’s challenging to investigate a toddler. The boy said that his mother jumped in the water and didn’t come back – stated TMZ.

On Tuesday, Rivera shared a heart-touching picture of herself with her son with a caption ‘Just the two of us’ and it gained a lot of traction and sympathies of the fans outpouring their prayer for both of them. 

Naya Rivera starred 113 episodes of different hit music series from 2009 to 2015. The Ventura County Sheriff’s department confirmed that they conducted a search last night. Helicopters and divers were scouring the lake yesterday night before the darkness fell and there was no trace of Rivera. The search was halted until morning.

There hasn’t been any clue about the actress yet as cops are still investigating the case.
