Jorge Santana, a far-loved musician, died at 68.

As per sources, the actor, younger brother of musician Carlos Santana, passed away Thursday. It is suspected that his death was due to natural causes.

On Friday a late singer’s representative announced the unfortunate news. The Legend Santana was better known for the songs Suavecito and Darling I Love Yo during the 1970s.

The sad news for the site was reported by Jorge’s representative. The singer died from natural causes on Thursday, the rep said. Jorge came from such a large family. His siblings include Jose, Christina, Isabel, Maria and Leticia as well as Carlos.

The star started music early because he wished to become like his younger brother Carlos, who at a young age was born with talent.
The two begin singing for the family as they lived in the Bay Area in a close-knit household.

The native of San Francisco was ‘unbelievably close’ to his sibling Carlos, whose band he came to fame in the 1990s.

Jorge began playing professionally in San Francisco at age 14. And then he joined the band The Malibus in the 1960s along with his friends from high school.

Even after getting recognition for himself there, Jorge did waves with hit songs Love The Way and Sandy in his extremely early music career in the 1970s.

He as well as his brothers band Malo signed with Warner Bros and released the top 20 hit “Suavecito” in their self-titled album.

This was recognized all over the world as the Chicano national anthem played at carne asada kickbacks.

This same song was indeed a massive success that they were given the potential to showcase back in 1972 on “American Bandstand.”

Malo went on to make three more commercially successful albums following their big break before finally splitting up and cutting ties.

Not willing to give up on his music career, Jorge released two solo albums just after five years of parting.
