There was a time when the USA had just a couple of coronavirus cases and it had almost nothing to sweat over.
There has been a huge paradigm shift and now the States is counting dead bodies almost every day.
In recent times, the United States has left behind Italy by reporting 2,000 deaths in a day. Italy, which has been the worst sufferer at the hands of this pathogen hasn’t reached this number of fatalities in 24 hours.
It is really worrisome for the entire American nation for they are reaching the apex faster than any other nation. They need to go back to the drawing board and see where they went wrong in the first place.
Their healthcare system has failed them, so to say. They should be having deep remorse about not taking the mass-testing seriously like Australia and New Zealand did. Countries that took preemptive measures in good time are doing much safer than the US. The US could not apprehend the up and coming danger most probably.
Over 19,000 people have succumbed to the deadly virus and half a million people are still fighting for their lives. These days couldn’t be any darker for them, so to speak. The number of people who recovered is not great enough to gruntle anyone. Only 29,000 people out of those 500,000 have won the battle against COVID-19.
It’s a pity that such a huge number of people in America have fallen prey to this death-dealing virus which has proven to be a nightmare for every man jack there. They are rapidly moving towards becoming world’s worst affected nation.
The country’s health infrastructure seems to be collapsing fairly quick. In upcoming days, they might be needing 86,379 beds, 17,707 ICU beds and 15,414 ventilators which is not easy to arrange. Getting such a great deal of equipment arranged in this less time is not a piece of cake.
