The common people suffering from Coronavirus have received a lot of attention in the media and the only people who got left behind in this regard are healthcare workers.

There hasn’t been a lot of buzz about how they are dealing with their grueling set of responsibilities.

The Coronavirus is as hazardous for them as it is for the rest of us. Everyone is equally fraught with this danger, yet some people are getting less attention. It is absolutely unjust to turn a blind eye towards these heroes and their well-being.

Three brave nurses, who have been working day in and day out to save lives, got infected with the deadly Coronavirus. Last week, all of them were tested at North London Centre and it turns out they could not escape the wrath of Coronavirus and fell victim to it.

In a picture circulating on social media, they can be seen donning pin bags instead of personal protective equipment. The hospital ran short of PPEs and gave their staff pin bags to wear which is nothing but a shame.

These nurses used to work at Northwick Park hospital in London where they were looking after Coronavirus patients.

After this news, Royal college of nursing and the unions went up in arms against the lack of personal protective equipment for paramedical staff. They believe it is incumbent on the hospitals to provide their paramedical staff, and especially nurses, with PPEs.

The hospital authorities and the government of the day share the responsibility for unavailability of PPEs in bulk.

The official spokesperson of Northwick Park hospital has come forward to explain how hard it is for them to see their workers falling prey to the pathogen in line of duty. He further added, a visible number of their staff members have derived the virus from patients they were looking after.
