The Duchess of Sussex did not keep her intentions to return to acting a secret as she and Prince Harry seeks financial independence.
She has reportedly signed a charity voice-over deal with Disney, and now she asks her agent to actively seek a suitable superhero role for her.
Nick Collins, Meghan’s agents from Gersh Agency has been busy going through offers, and a source confirms, “He has said she wants her return to acting to be part of an ensemble cast in something like a superhero film.”
The source also mentioned that Collins is actively seeking for a movie for Meghan, and pitching that she is available and open to hear about the best offers.
As she is done with the voiceover for Disney, word is out that she is eyeing on being on a superhero film, either as a voiceover or on screen.
She understands that she cannot carry a film as an actress, as people will not be able to get past the fact that she is Meghan Markle.
As per the source, she is aiming for an ensemble film – one that pays big but does not put her on front and center.
Almost every A-list actress have starred in a superhero movie, such as Scarlett Johansson, Margot Robbie and Jennifer Lawrence, and this is what Meghan aims for.
Even Prince Harry mentioned albeit infamously, “What Meghan wants, Meghan gets.”
Collins was Meghan’s agent since her stint on the legal drama Suits, and have Ken Sunshine as her Hollywood PR as well as Andrew Meyer as her business manager.
Rumors say that she agreed to record a voiceover for Disney in exchange for a charity donation.
This is said to have set in motion after Prince Harry was recorded talking to Bob Iger and seemingly pitched that she is available for work.
